1. “Tell me about yourself.”

这个问题实际是在考察你的交流技巧,英语表达能力,逻辑思维能力,和理性表达能力。

用2分钟来回答这个问题。回答问题要注意逻辑性。可以从如何地方谈起,比如高中,大学,或第一个工作。要通过谈自己的经历,突出自己的一、两个优点。

2. “Why are you leaving your current position?”

这是一个很关键的问题。如果回答不好,就可能失去这个工作。切记:永远不要说别人(雇主、同事)的坏话! 而且也不要让别人听起来,觉得你狠机会主义。做好的回答,是公司(部门) 要关闭,你不得不离开这个你工作得狠愉快的地方。但是,如果只是你自己想跳槽,那么,你可以这样说:

After long personal consideration, my chance to make a contribution is very low due to company changes.

如何解释,目前的工作哪些是对你不适合的。在表述的时候,一定要注意,尽量用positive的词语来表述。切记:永远不要说别人(雇主、同事)的坏话!

3. “What do you consider your most significant accomplishment?”

这个问题狠关键。如果回答得好,可能因此得到这个工作。

用大约2分钟回答这个问题。用具体的事例来描述你的工作成绩,包括你在工作中的角色,个人的贡献。使得自己的知识、技能让人听起来很信服,狠有用。根据工作性质,审时度势,提到努力工作,超时工作,高压工作,和现在公司的主要问题。如果不是必要,不要主动提到自己过去经常主动加班工作。但要表示: 如果工作性质需要,可以考虑超时工作。

4. “Why do you believe you are qualified for this position?”

挑两、三个和工作有关的自己的强项。如某个独特的技术,或具体的管理手段(组织,人员管理,策划,等) ,自己的个人贡献。

5. “Have you ever accomplished something you didn’t think you could?”

面试者问这个问题,实际上是想考查你的工作目标,工作动力。选一个好例子来解释你曾经克服过多么大的困难,取得了什么样的成绩。这个问题的关键,是要使对方相信:在困难面前,你是个不轻易言败的实干家。

6. What do you like or dislike most about your current position?”

面试者问这个问题,实际是在看你对新职位的适应性如何。如果你真的对这个职位感兴趣,你一定要小心回答。

回答这个问题,应该从你不喜欢的开始说。你可以不喜欢终日一成不变,没有如何发展前途的工作,可以不喜欢终日的高压下的工作,没有机会去提高自己,可以不喜欢公司里的人浮于事,官僚主义,等等。

最终, 以你喜欢的正面事例结束。

负面的要说得少,正面的多要强调。

7. What did you like/dislike about your boss, or co-workers.

面试者问这个问题的目的,实际上是通过你对老板和同事的评价,看你是否是个好的team player。因此,你应该尽量用positive的评语来评价你的老板和同事。但同时,应该不忘突出自己的独特贡献。

8. Why do you want to work here?

这是一个大拍MP,展示自己的好机会,一定不能错过。

你可以说:你狠喜欢这个富有挑战性的工作。你研究过对方公司的主要产品/服务,对对方公司的产品/服务狠感兴趣, 以自己的工作经验和学识,你有信心做好这个工作,给对方公司带来利润。你可以说,对方公司是个闻名遐迩的技术权威,你狠骄傲成为他们的一员。你可以说,从对方目前的产品和服务来看, 对方是个很有前途的公司,你对他们充满信心。如果是在面试进行大半之后被问到这个问题,你还可以说:通过面试,你觉得对方公司是个狠有希望的公司,员工们的士气狠高,狠有学识,富有团队精神,待人热情。你很愿意和这样一些人一起工作,共同提高。

电话面试的常见问题


注意事项:  
1、刚接电话的时候,千万别发傻。他说may i speak to xxx?的时候,你可以回答,year, it's me. you must be prof xxx。然后一定要问他how are you? 这样会给对方一个比较的第一印象。   

2、最后的时候,一定要thanks for calling。而且打完电话之后,还要跟上一封email。   

RA的主要问题:    
1、一般会了解一下你的专业知识。尽你所能,如实地回答。千万不要充大尾巴狼。有一说一,有二说二。   

2、有时会问你,毕业之后要干嘛。不是说你要回来还是要留下,而是要问你想教书还是想到业界工作?   

3、准备一两个小问题问他,觉得你挺了解而且挺重视他们学校的。   

TA的主要问题:  因为TA是教书,所以以聊天为主。比如天气啦,个人情况啦,等等。如果你曾经做过口译方面的工作,也可以跟他吹一吹。主要看你的英语怎么样了。   

一定要注意礼貌,如果有问题回答不出来的,你可以跟他说,i have no idea of it now. can i reply you later by email?总之,打圆场的事情是不用我教的了。   祝大家好运。
